French courses in France

Courses are held during weekdays in a cozy classroom in the teacher's townhouse, located in the heart of the village of Trans-en-Provence (Provence, French Riviera).

A maximum of 2 students of the same level are registered in each class to ensure the greatest participation.

Grammatical construction is made simple and practiced right away and throughout the week in conversation.

All material - written, audio and video- is "du jour" and provided by the teacher.

Vocabulary and idiomatic lesson units are used to enhance your real-life comprehension and conversation.

Why French courses "à la carte"?

Because vacation dates can be tricky, because every student learns at his/her own pace and because vacation is still... vacation, it should remain a relaxing and pleasant time.

How French courses "à la carte" work?

Submit your ideal travelling dates and length of stay to Sophie at lesalondesophie@gmail.com to check availability and to prepare a bespoke learning plan, just for you.

With la Prof, together we can create your own tailored schedule according to your learning pace and your vacation plans. A minimum of 2h30 hour a day is required for significant results. You are free to choose to have 2h30, 3h, 4h (or even more) hour a day in one lesson or spread out during the full day (e.g. 2h in the morning and 2h in the afternoon).

For first time students: let's meet up on Skype to discuss your needs, your difficulties and your goals in French, usefull informations and tips regarding your stay. And also, it is nice to meet each other, and for you to know that even though you are coming alone to Trans-en-Provence to study, you won't feel on your own because la Prof and her family will be there for you in case you need a little help.

You are a (lucky) resident or a semi-resident of the Var (83) and you need regular private French tuition weekly, all year long, same rates apply including a standard period of validity.

Policies and Registration

Must be 21 year old - teenagers are welcome under a chaperon's supervision outside the classes.

All fees are tax-inclusive.

You must carry out the necessary procedures in order to be insured during your stay in France. The organizer is not responsible for losses and damages suffered or committed by the participants during the program.

Airfare, accomodation and activities not included in price.

Bring your own apron if you like to cook ; )
