La Prof
Sophie was born and raised in the South of France. She studied languages, French literature and art history in Paris. She wanted to improve her English and moved to the United States at the age of 23. She worked in bookstores specialized in travel and languages until she became a full-time teacher for all levels at the Alliance Française of Washington, DC and a trainer for French teaching methodology.
Eleven years later, after an amazing professional and human experience, she came back to France. She now offers lively French classes in her home in Trans-en-Provence, located in Provence Côte d'Azur. It is all about sharing her love for French language, history and culture, from both the past and present.
Her dream as a French teacher: to have David Sedaris in her class and make him talk pretty. One day.
Please note that Sophie's dogs, Lilly and Noé, are not Poodles, they like to greet students and to attend the classes as well - they sleep through them actually. Noé wants to be a French teacher when he grows up.
